Macguffin 14: The Wall
The twelfth issue of MacGuffin explores the physical, political, and symbolic presence of the wall. From the Apartheid wall in Palestine to digital paywalls, Jamaican memorial murals, and towering glass office facades, walls bear witness to historical tumult and our enduring drive both to divide and to communicate. This edition examines the delicate balance between openness and isolation, enclosure and exclusion. Pausing to consider a world increasingly shaped by borders, barriers, and barbed wire, Issue 12 invites readers to question what we ultimately seek to express, conceal, or protect.
